I agree people listen to the opinions given celebrities such as actors, athletes, and rock stars. Whether to pay attention to those opinions is a million dollar question. Not all opinions are right nor all are wrong. It is a mixture of right and wrong. We may surely pay attention but whether to act according to their advice or not must be decided by us after giving a careful thought.

Numerous companies through celebrities and media try to canvass the population to buy their products and or services by way of very attractive advertisements. Actors, Rock-stars, Cricketers etc who appear in these advertisements are paid millions of dollars for each advertisement. Similarly many times actors and film stars are used by politicians for their election campaigns and canvassing. Not all stated by those celebrities is right. People must think before buying a product or service whether they need it at all, its affordability, usefulness and quality. Likewise before voting for a particular party or the person its past performance, the achievements and whether the party or person deserves to be elected.

Many advertisements show film stars smoking particular brand of cigarettes or consuming a particular brand of hard liquor. Such messages quite mislead the population thereby dragging younger generation into get into those evils of alcoholism, smoking and drug addiction that is absolutely undesirable.

In nutshell, not all opinions given by celebrities are right nor are all wrong. It is a mixture of right and wrong. We can surely pay attention but to accept it or not depends upon us. We may decide whether to act according to their advice or not after carefully thinking on the pros and cons.
