Essay: - 'Alcohol and Young Generation’

Essay: - 'Alcohol and Young Generation’
Alcohol is an intoxicating liquid its chemical name is Ethanol or Ethyl Alcohol. This is used for drinking by human. It is used as a “Social Drink” in many high societies around the globe. The calorific value of Alcohol is very high hence it is capable of giving an immediate lift to the tired soldiers if taken in small quantity. Therefore it is used by personnel in forces. Alcohol if consumed in large quantity makes one unconscious too. Alcohol is the worst abuse.
Everything has its own aches and pains and alcohol is no exception to it. Rather alcohol consumption is highly injurious to the health is a proven fact best known globally. Alcohol is a habit forming drug and young generation tend to consume it as a fashion and soon become alcoholic badly addicted to it. Habit of alcohol is a very costly monetarily too.
When alcoholics can’t afford to drink good quality of alcohol, they turn to cheap illicit brew. This can cause grave health problems and can be fatal too. I know of a couple of cases wherein firstly Eighty persons blinded soon after alcohol consumption and secondly One family with relatives and their friends, nearly twelve people died after consuming alcohol. They drank was Methyl Alcohol stolen from a stationary rail tanker in the yard.
Habitual drinking spoils married life of numerous young couples and ruins career of their children too. Drinking causes deadly diseases like heart failure and Cirrhosis of the liver. Alcohol weakens brain cells, memory power, heart, and sexual potency and drive.
Majority of young generation drink because they have some pending problems. Drinking does not solve any problem but simply postpones it. This results into bigger back log of unsolved problems. Young generation in the process of imitating romantic films, drink heavily and take their girlfriend on date. They go on long drives in intoxicated condition and crash their car. Many truck and bus accidents are seen on highways (free-ways) due to drunken driving thus causing loss of men, material and money.
Drunk driving is an extremely serious problem numerous losses of the human life and public property are encountered on account of drunk driving all over. The most tragic death of Princess Diana of Paris was also caused by driver Paul, who lost control of the car at high speed while he was drunk.
In nutshell Alcohol is very highly injurious to health. Hence one must refrain from drinking and enjoy the wealth of good health. After-all young generation is the nation builder and future of the nation.

Essay: - Fear of Failure versus Positivity and Success,

Every human being has two types of behaviours like Approach and Avoidance. Approach is with a motivation of achievement and Avoidance is with a Fear of Failure. More people have fear of failure than approach to achievement.

Fear of failure and avoidance behaviour must be consciously controlled and overcome to get success and achievement. One must learn to accept failure as a natural phenomenon. Every failure is an opportunity to learn to do the task differently and achieve success.

An acronym by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, Indian Scientist and the Th President of India explains that FAIL is the F = First, A = Attempt. I = in, L = Learning

The fear of failure creates doubt in the mind of an individual about his potential, talent and ability. This results into a low self confidence and lowers one’s self esteem. This kind of attitude is disastrous and closes all venues of further learning. One must understand that we become what we think and speak.

One must understand that “No risk no Gain” so everyone in a new venture must be prepared to take risk and not worry about failure. Gita the management Bible also says Do your karma and don’t worry about the result it will surely be rewarding. Never worry about failure. Hope for the best and proceed.

Most important is that one must learn from mistakes of others because life is too short for the one to make all mistakes by selves. Hence interdependence is very important in learning and execution of a new project.

In conclusion, one must always adopt a positive attitude and look forward to succeed.  Some of the most successful people in the world today have overcome the toughest set-backs – for example: -
Thomas Edison was both hearing impaired and fidgety. He only lasted three months in school where his teachers said he was "too stupid to learn anything." He eventually was home schooled by his mom. In talking about his invention of the light bulb, he said:

“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that do not work.” - Thomas Edison

Relocating Industries and Business to Regional Areas

In some countries, governments are encouraging industries and businesses to move to regional areas outside the big cities. Do the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages?
-----------------------------------------------
Relocating Industries and Business to Regional Areas
It is a good idea to locate industries and business to regional or rural areas than thickly populated city areas. I shall elaborate my viewpoint in this essay to support this idea.
Every industry discharges waste. Quantum of discharge depends upon size of the industry. Big industries discharge larger waste. Also industries during the operation cause heat emission that escalates Global Warming. Big cities are usually very thickly populated and industrial discharge and heat emissions cause severe pollution and global warming problems.
Rural areas have less population and larger availability of free land. Cost of land is far more less than that of urban area land. Hence it is cost effective too. Unemployed youth get employment opportunity thereby easing problems of overcrowding in city areas.
Hydro Carbon Processing Industries like Petroleum Refineries, Petrochemicals, Gas and other Chemical Industries like Fertilizers etc can cause severe pollution and heat emission. Gases cause air pollution, and chemical effluents cause water pollution. Said pollution is highly injurious to the human and animal health.
Oil and Gas industries are susceptible to hazards like fire and bursting of gas cylinders and allied equipments like Horton Spheres, Boilers, Furnaces and other pressure vessels etc. In such eventuality the available space for fire fighting is most important which is ample in regional rural areas unlike city areas. In city areas, such mishap endangers neighbouring residents and other business establishments. Such possibility of loss to men, material and money is ruled out if the industry is located in the regional rural areas.
To summarise, relocating the industries from thickly populated and overcrowded city area to the regional rural area is an excellent idea and the advantages of this idea outweigh the disadvantages like distance and approachability.
