Technology indeed has made our lives easier and convenient. In this essay we will look at some of the technological breakthroughs made today while simultaneously exploring how these advancements are impacting our culture, our relationships and our individual lives.

Most people welcome computers that have improved the ways we work and we play. Technology is advancing at a speed that is far beyond our imagination. Now computers are most important in our lives. Students come across computers both at home and at school. Governments worldwide have introduced computers and internet connections in classrooms. All businesses are fully taken over and performed by our computers only. Say banking, education, air booking, rail booking, road booking, buying selling, renting, trading in equity market, tender inquiries and what not. Even marriages are also fixed on internet. I am reminded of an old saying is that has rotated by 180 degrees now, that is------
“Marriages Are Made In Heaven” now modified as “Marriages Are Made On Internet”.

However there may be some side effects of working on computers, like we may miss the personal human touch. We tend to remain sedentary for long that may give some muscular pain etc. But over and above there is a general rule that “Every occupation has its aches and pains but it the adventure what makes life worth living.” So we welcome technology and computerization.

In nutshell now we have an access to entire world in our fist on our palmtop and technology has made the world a better place to live.

Computers are used to assist active experiences, gathering data and resources, conversing with colleagues, struggling through a challenging puzzle or application or they can assist in reflection. For example, while an on-line conversation through e-mail is an active event. They help us think about ideas and check our understanding. In another reflective application, teachers can enlist computers as authoring tools for students' journals which are excellent vehicles for thoughtful examination of experience.

In conclusion, with the help of technology, students learn more information quickly.
