“Improve Conditions for Physically Disabled”

In the early 21st century, many cities are being rapidly redeveloped. In this process, the needs of special interest groups, such as people with physical disabilities, are sometimes taken into account.

How can society improve conditions for people with physical disabilities?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Society has a great responsibility towards helping the physically handicapped people. Those are our brethren and we should do everything that we can to help them out. In this essay I shall elaborate what all society and government can do to fulfill this mission.

Most Polio victims are unable to move. For them wheel chairs and specially designed automobiles can be made by automobile manufacturers and sold to them at confessional rates. Government must give all necessary assistance to such manufacturers and give them relief from taxes.

Many a visually impaired people are very good at music those must be given free music lessons, instruments and motivation to develop their skill. Further those can be employed as music teachers in schools. I have come across many visually impaired music teachers during my school days. Also those people do sedentary jobs like running Public Call Offices, transmitting fax messages and Xerox copying business very well, those must be given all necessary assistance by telephone companies whether private or Government.

Those who are hearing impaired can very well be employed as data punch operators or account book writers in the shops, establishments, industrial and business organizations. Those people can very well work on computers or write manually with pen and paper.

In nutshell it is a fundamental and moral responsibility of the society as well as the governments to ensure that the physically challenged population is taken care of and they are also motivated to do the jobs as any other normal human being does and they must always feel themselves at par with normal human beings.
