“Pets”

Many people have a close relationship with their pets. These people treat their birds, cats, or other animals as members of their family. In your opinion, are such relationships good? Why or why not? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Pets are an important part of our lives. Most popular pets world wide are dog, cat and parrot. Animal lovers treat them in par with the dearest family member. I am also a dog lover and I have a dog named Hardy, nine years old Spitz. I love my dog.

I have read of a lady who suffered breast cancer. When her Oncologist most reluctantly gave to understand that she may live for three more months, she was shocked. She went and bought many pets of her choice and started playing with them in her back yard. Unaware of the time, after half a year when she went for another checkup, to the utter surprise of the Oncologist and her, she showed no sign of breast cancer. Cancer was gone.

Pets help reducing mental tension and anxiety. It is recommended in management books also to keep pet that retards mental tension and undue worry and anxiety among top brass that can cause them peptic ulcer. Dogs take care of your house, farm, and property. Dogs in particular are very possessive. They help you to overcome the loneliness and give good company.

Similarly dogs do help handicap people like blind, amputees or polio sufferers by guiding them the way and even helping them move by pulling their wheel chairs. It would not be out of place to mention here that dogs do take care of sheep and cattle and those dogs are known as German Shepherds.

In nutshell pets are most loyal, absolutely undemanding and still they give unconditional love that is most superior to all. They are an important part of our own daily lives and contribute often unmeasured benefits to our mental health. We must love our pets.

I fully agree with the statement that for achieving personal happiness our relationships are the paramount importance. Every one strives for happiness and I am no exception.

Family members are the ones with whom we spend major portion of our lives and so they do. They are our number one supporters in this world. We love them the most and vice versa. They are closest in relation to us. We must have very strong relationship with our family members.

Friends occupy positions of extreme importance in our lives. Friends can have great influence over many areas of our emerging identity. Our choice of music, movies, clothes, boyfriends or girlfriends, classes, jobs, and so on. In some case, it doesn’t stop here; it also covers the personal standards of behavior, our performance, morals and values. This makes it especially important for us to maintain good friendship.

Furthermore, identical to friends, colleagues also have a great influence on our lives even if they don't realize it, just by spending time with us. We learn from them, and vice versa. It's only human nature to listen to and learn from other people. Colleagues can have a positive influence on each other. Colleagues build a sense of trust, respect, and mutual support and they are no different than friends.

In conclusion, key to building strong relationships with family, friends and colleagues, our interpersonal communication is a paramount importance and “Top Priority”. However all other issues like business work and wealth get second priority. Interpersonal communication skills gives greater self confidence; one can win the heart of his or her dream partner, or save the marriage, one can manage the staff and deal with people outside of the organization and achieve personal happiness.
