Rise in population is indeed a matter of great concern for all. In this essay we will look at the pros and cons of increase in population of teenagers. Teen age range is 14 to 19 years.

Any country with a large number of teenage or young populations is a young country. Obviously as a natural phenomenon, shortly the teenagers grow up to their working age. It is a proven fact that a young man delivers higher output compared to an aged person. Furthermore, after an age of 60 to 65 years of an individual, his or her output decreases. Hence on the basis of demography, life expectancy and gradual deterioration in health the retirement comes into picture.

Due to overpopulation the basic human needs for water, food, housing and fuel make high demands on the country. Secondly for the necessities of survival, there is increasing demand for more material goods and services. More schools, colleges, professional colleges are required to be built. All this apparently appear to be a loss to the country but there is a great intangible gain like young work force which is an asset to the country.

As far as disadvantage is concerned in my opinion, teenage is a critical phase of adolescence and the teenagers are pretty curious about experiencing everything like falling in love, experience sex, get into good job, earn money, marry and many more. At this juncture youth may indulge into crime like juvenile delinquency. No doubt with adequate precautions by parents, elders and teachers or educators, this situation can be controlled, mitigated or avoided even.

In nutshell the benefits of greater teenage population outweigh its disadvantages. Hence it is good to have more of youth that contribute toward building a powerful nation.

I agree to students evaluating teachers. Students may evaluate teachers on the basis of yearly academic growth of their students. This is known as a “value-added,” evaluation. However students ...criticizing teachers is bad and I am totally disagreeing.


 The purpose of student evaluation of teaching is to provide required infrastructure facilities and staff with valid and reliable information with the help of which right and well informed decisions can be made about improving student learning processes and outcomes. Evaluation is a positive process and should be used for the enhancement of staff development and student learning.

 Students are the main source of information about the learning environment, including teachers' ability to motivate students for continued learning, rapport or degree of communication between instructors and students. Secondly Students are the most logical evaluators of the quality, the effectiveness of, and satisfaction with course content, method of instruction, textbooks, homework, and student interest. Besides student ratings encourage communication between students and their instructor. Said communication may lead to the kind of student and instructor involvement in the teaching-learning process that can raise the level of instruction. Furthermore student ratings of particular instructors and courses can be used by other students to select courses and instructors, and may increase the chances that excellence in instruction will be recognized and rewarded.

 In summary we must accept that good teaching really matters the most. Hence building a credible basis for teacher evaluation would be an important advance that could contribute, to improved teaching and learning in the long run. But the evaluation process should be absolutely fair and free from any personal prejudice, bias and partiality otherwise such evaluation becomes disrespectful to teachers. Evaluation process must be sufficiently rich to do justice to the complex and multidimensional activity that constitutes teaching.

The colourful festival of Holi falls in February end or early March every year. The colourful festival bridges the social gap and renews sweet relationships. On this day, people hug each other and wish 'Happy Holi'.  Holi celebration begins with lighting up of bonfire on the eve of Holi. It is a universal truth that parents are the first God-father for their children. Thereafter second God-father is the teachers who teach them various subjects depending upon the aptitude of the individual child. In this essay I will elaborate on teaching by parents and teachers versus teaching by others.

It is obvious that parents are the first and the best teachers. Secondly the teachers who teach them various subjects depending upon the aptitude of the individual child. Well educated children are the nation builders. During pregnancy while the baby in the mother’s womb it can hear the sounds and it has feeling of comfort – discomfort and pleasure and pain. A learning process is set up and continues.

Soon after the birth the, parents start hugging, kissing and talking to the new born. For the entertainment of the child, playing music and many other activities are done. Child starts learning with its vision and sound and environment. They teach the child to walk, to speak, and to have good manners before the child goes to school. Much more than school teachers’ parents are fully involved in the development and education of children. Hence parents are the best teachers.

When children go to school they find great diversity of teachers, they learn various subjects unlike teaching by parents. Furthermore children get immense information and knowledge from school, college and professional colleges. This can be achieved only with the help of teachers.

On completion of education young are over enthusiastic about business, job and earning money and marriage. At this juncture again parents guide them not to be impulsive and hasty. Impulsive and hasty behaviour may be disastrous and lead to failure.

In nutshell, for the children, parents are the first best teachers and the teachers are the second best.

Nowadays more and more older people compete with younger people for the same jobs. In my opinion competition is always for good. In this essay I will elaborate my point of view.

During the past some years, there has been a rise in the number of older people opting for the same jobs as the fresh graduates. The main reason is that private organizations want experienced candidates. Most organizations, particularly multinational companies, prefer to recruit employees with immense profound experience and knowledge. Unlike young freshers, older quickly and easily adapt to the company's working environment, comprehend and start functioning. Some older rich in experience may be retirees with meek pension. Those need an income for their own and family’s survival.

Many Government Organizations recruit “Graduate Trainees” in several disciplines line Engineering Management, Health Care, Public Relations, Information Technology and many more. Similarly some big multinational companies also adopt this practice. The freshers on completion are employed on suitable positions.

Some MNCs offer a "Management Trainee" program for young individuals below 25 years. All need money for the survival of own and the family and old people are no exception to it. Alternately the government can help mitigate old versus young problems by providing high monetary pension plans for retirees and enable them to comfortably survive in the present economic scenario.

In nut shell, competition is everywhere and competition is good for development and progress of any individual or the business. Competition is a good thing in business because it encourages the individuals and organizations to work hard. It improves the quality of the product and service. In the absence of competition the businesses may monopolise and monopoly is bad. There is nothing wrong if a competition persists between Old and Young. It is rather a healthy competition.

Crime and Punshment to Juvenile.

I disagree in totality to the idea of equal punishment for crimes by adult and teenagers. I shall elaborate my point of view in this essay.

Younger person is different than an adult and does not possess a fully developed brain. Experts also opine that three-quarters of adolescents lack the decision-making abilities like adults, thus only one-quarter of juveniles function in an adult manner.” Juvenile behaviour is greatly influenced by factors like adolescence, immaturity, impulsivity and inability to estimate risks and foresee the consequences. Young generation is enormously focussed on immediate monetary gains, great success and sex stimulation with no thought of risks and consequences at all.

Hence considering only mandatory sentence and its imposition on a youth is totally wrong. The youths have less responsibility for their actions than adults and they have greater prospects for improvement and reform. Harsh punishment for a prolonged time may adversely affect the tender minds of the youth thereby spoiling their mental and physical health and thereby rendering them incapable of progress and reform.

Even in the home when two or more youth commit some mischief, the oldest is punished hard and the punishment to younger ones is in the lenient form. Then how can we punish all youths at a level of adults regardless of their age and maturity.

In conclusion, youths are the nation builders. They have less responsibility for their actions than adults and greater prospects for improvements and reforms. Hence punishing the youths equally as adult criminals is totally wrong and against the interest of the nation.

Excess of everything is Bad is proven fact and computers, internet and mobile phones are no exception to it.

Proliferation of computers and smart phones have brought into proliferation of comforts for the human beings. Even in the education sphere, computers are the paramount. Now almost all activities like shopping, banking, rail, road, sea and air booking, Health monitoring and maintenance. Everything is done on computers. This has resulted into a sedentary life style with no physical exercise at all. This all has resulted into health problems like weight gain, body pains, eyesight weakness and many more.

Students operate keyboard of computers for writing hence no pen and paper work. Therefore with the time they lose practice of writing with hand. As far as reading skills are concerned, I feel there is hardly any difference student reading a paper book or on computer screen and reading skill is not adversely affected it may rather improve.

Indeed excessive use of SMS on mobile phones has adverse affect on a student’s language, grammar and spelling knowledge. E.g. we will come tomorrow= (V vil cum 2 moro), See you later = (c u l8r), Thank you = (ty), You come to school = (u cum 2 skol) etc. This has badly spoiled knowledge of English Language among school and collegians. Students never care to learn spellings and grammar. Many people mistake themselves to be expert in the language because their SMS are interpreted correctly and replied.

Besides, people keep sticking to their mobile instruments even when they are talking to face to face this is totally out of etiquette. Using mobile phones while driving cause fatal accidents. Still however the craze seems to override the risk which is bad.

In nutshell excessive use of mobiles and computers adversely affect the writing skills and not the reading skills as explained above.
